Vice-Admiral Benoit de Guibert<\/a>, Maritime Prefect and Commander of the Manche-North Sea maritime zone and district, honored us with a visit.<\/p>\n

It’s an opportunity for us to exchange views among maritime professionals on the challenges of port pilotage, its practices and experience.<\/p>\n

Highlight of the day: the admiral accompanied our colleague Patrice COUR<\/a> as a 366-meter container ship maneuvered its way into Port 2000.<\/p>\n

During the day, the admiral was also able to discover our facilities at the Quai de la Marine, as well as our maneuvering simulator.<\/p>\n

That evening, at our annual cocktail party, we presented our new H135 helicopter to him and the other guests.<\/p>\n

Our warmest thanks to Admiral de Guibert for his availability and interest in the Le Havre pilot station.<\/p>\n
