Pavel Pereira has stepped down as president of the Station du Pilotage Le Havre-Fécamp after four years in office. He has been succeeded by Thierry Gazengel.

A former student of the ENSM, captain first class and navigation officer in the French Navy, he worked for Louis Dreyfus Lines, CMA CGM and Orange Marine. He joined the Le Havre-Fécamp Pilotage Station in 2002.

The station’s 45 pilots handle more than 10,000 ship movements a year and 1,800 helicopter pilot delivery and recovery operations.
