“Le Havre and Fécamp pilot station is headed by a President, elected for a four-year term. You can cumulate up to two terms. You have to be a pilot to run the station and you are elected by your peers. I took my new position in 2016, so I’m in mid-term. Personally, I come from Le Havre. After leaving the ESMM in 1994, I sailed on LDA bulk carriers and Seafrance ferries. I quickly felt the need to find my roots in Le Havre and to fix myself geographically. As I was attracted to the maneuver, I headed for the job of pilote. I have been at the station since 2001”.
